Okay, how about how did you come up with the names for your characters? Any particular inspirations?

I wish I had a better answer for this. XD Mostly, I just generally get a feel where they’re from, and then look up names that fit their culture because I feel weird giving characters prophetic-type names when their parents certainly wouldn’t name them that way. 

Maki and Lilo are from a culturally mixed family, but they were born in Hawaii and were closer with their father’s side of the family which were from islands so they both got Japanese/Hawaiian names. 

Trilby’s family has heavy Moors Italian roots, and there’s a long standing tradition of family names so she’s actually the fourth of her name. 

Meanwhile Eliza I just picked the name out of a hat.  XD

Maki:  Everything.  Like, really.  The woman LOVES food.  She’d probably try dextro if it wouldn’t kill her. It has a lot to do with her childhood of having literally nothing, and nothing bothers her more than people wasting food.

Lilo:  Fish of any sort, but the best is blowfish.  No lesbian jokes, she’s heard them all. ;D

Trilby:  Pork rinds.  I do not have the slightest idea why.

Gindryll:  Walk herself up there, order for him, and dare him to object…and if she did, proooobably tell him off for holding everyone up when he could have just stepped aside and let people who actually know what they want order first.  All the while praying he tries to hit her so she has an excuse to break his face.   What can I say, the girl has anger management issues.

Eliza:  Assume there are bandits involved and clean house.  Wherein “cleaning house” involves lots of blood that isn’t her own. 

But if we’re AUing that, she would get a freaking kick out of a monster truck rally.  Provided she gets to drive one.

What is Eliza’s relationship with James like?

Daddy’s giiiiiiirl.  Like you wouldn’t believe.  Eliza worshiped her dad, hook line and sinker, up until he abandoned her at the vault.  Even then, she spent her entire time in the wasteland convincing herself that he thought he was doing the right thing, no matter how hurt she was by it.  She was horrendously proud of the work he was doing, and wanted to help in any way she could.  But she lied to him after tranquility lane, her own method of “protecting him” from the truth of what happened to her, and it still eats her up inside.  The more she thinks about it, the more she’s angry and pissed about all the lies that didn’t need to happen, and how so smart a man could do something so stupid.  There’s a lot of gut-wrenching guilt and twisted emotions going on in there.  On one hand, she thinks he’s a hero still…and on the other she’s starting to hate him a little.

3. Any fandoms that don’t appeal to you?

Oh god. Kettle of fish, that one.  Supernatural.  Times twenty gazillion.  Loads of reasons there that I’ve enumerated too many times to go into again.  But it has more to do with the show itself than the fandom (though the RPS side of that fandom is probably the worst that I’ve seen, and I already don’t like RPS fandoms at all so…)

7.  Is there anything you used to like, but now can’t stand?

Ahaha, that’s ironic.  Same answer as #3, just without the RPS side cause I didn’t like that even when I was in the Supernatural fandom.  Also the new MLP, Gravitation (that I mentioned earlier), Avatar:LOK (though god help me i still watch it for the horror of it all), South Park…  Those are the ones that stand out, anyway.

#10. Any fandom you’re ashamed of being in?

I think it’s easier to ask which fandom I’m not ashamed to be in. XD Honestly, the older my fandoms are the easier they are to be public about because the more the fans have had time to mature and get past certain things.  That isn’t a guarantee, of course, but even the fandoms I’m in which I would say are currently wank-free were some of the most horrendous fandoms of their times.  I speak, of course, of Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing. 

The ones I’m currently associated with are pretty damn bad outside my immediate circle (at least from what I’ve seen), but I have hope for them.

So I guess the only one I was ever in that I’m still just utterly ashamed to even admit I was ever a part of it was for a manga/anime called Gravitation.

I know the definition of this includes “one” but…Frankly, Fenris/Danarius, and Fenris/Anders are equally capable of inducing frantic back-buttoning.  Which is sometimes annoying as one of them is practically the OTP of the entire fucking fandom, or so it often feels.
